This historically significant song has remained unrecorded for *231* years! That's remarkable 🤯 Where are the other musical historians properly preserving these works? Why am I the only one doing this? I don't get it. Please download and support my work: foundring.gumroad.com/l/TDN

This is the type of historical musicology that should be undertaken by professional institutions, not spergy shitposters. But here we are 🤷‍♂️

🚨BREAKING Exclusive🚨 - Never-before-seen Capitol CCTV video reveals that Brian Cole Jr. could not have been the J6 pipe b*mber. He is seen walking on the northwest side of the Capitol at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME as the real suspect was distributing devices on the southeast side of the Capitol. More information in the thread below. 🧵⬇️ **Video work by @accabbat (Armitas)** The video in the first comment below shows me and @KyleSeraphin breaking down and explaining exactly what you're seeing in this short video.

In light of @SteveBakerUSA’s new CCTV video which appears to exonerate Brian Cole Jr, I sent a letter to @FBIDirectorKash & DOJ today, requesting they immediately review the video, release Mr. Cole, and conduct a J6 pipe bomb investigation to include police & other officials.

Here's the studio quality version. Incredible that this hasn't been properly preserved in over two centuries! Why are no other music historians doing this work? I guess it's up to me. Hopefully others will now be inspired to celebrate and save our history. xitter.cf/foundring1/status/2112…

I discovered this song, and several others like it, from this book I'm reading on the origins of American minstrelsy. Fortunately some libraries have preserved them, but sadly no other musicians are actively recording them. It's a shame such beautiful music is now but a footnote.

Grok "cleaned up" the original sheets and it looks better! One of the difficulties in preserving old songs is the extra verses are often printed separately. You have to figure out where the syllables work with the music yourself. It takes a great deal of intuition and guesswork.

Just learned an English anti-slavery song written in *1795* 🤯 It was *never* recorded. It will now be properly preserved for the first time in 231 years.

These lyrics were written c.1789 by Frank Sayers. They were put to music c.1795 by popular composer James Hook. This was performed in blackface in a theatre. Anti-slavery songs like this became the inspiration for American minstrelsy. It's preserved here: levysheetmusic.mse.jhu.edu/c…
