hey, i have work too. ~
currently, i'm just not allowed to get back until i'm able~
( so cute. watching lark snuggle up to him like thisβ scar couldn't help but nuzzle his nose against the top of lark's head once more. )
____
____
get bored of you?
such a silly thought, dear lark~
i may be so easily get bored on certain things, but never you~
( his only decent company hm? that only makes scar chuckle, offering him a soft bite against the other's cheek. )
____
i'd be up for a spar with her if she's so willing~
( he tugs lark closer just so he wouldn't fall off the bed. scar's form was big enough to take up a lot of the space after all. )
and who says i'm just here to sleep with you~?
____
____
that can wait, even when it's quite tempting sometimes ~
( taking off scar's clothes was a nightmare to even do, the overseer never planned to sleep either way; so he truly need not to discard anything he's wearing except for the shoes. )
____
ego~? that is merely a fact~
( they arrive at lark's home soon enough, he places him on the bedβ scar settles on the chair next to it; unbuckling and taking off his hooved boots. )
the attire would be a waste once i've ripped all off of you, dear ~
____
____
( eventually he does crawls into bed beside him, sitting with his arms resting behind his headβ smile begins to grow wide at lark's implications about a date. )
i'd be the wrong person to search for something so ... formal ~

oh~?
is that how you see it?
i wouldn't trust so much on what gods give you~ their presence is a curse itself, what gives them the right to be one anyway? ~
is it because they're powerful enough to topple nations~? if that's the criteria, i would've been a god
____
____
here long ago~
( the smell of snow and lark's own scent; scar clearly likes it given how he nuzzles his nose atop that head, taking it all in and savoring this closeness lark while still allows him to. )
why you? ~
____
( he didn't mind the closeness, in fact β scar quite liked it whenever they're this close together. )
have you ever questioned what happens to vision bearers when they die~?
do they get special privileges in the afterlife~? or ... something more sinister ~?
____
____
( the overseer keeps him carried, and he was already on his way back to lark's home. )
you don't get to decide whether i like you or not~
and at the moment, that hasn't changed one bit~
you're worth the trouble~
____
i did not say that~
we can always spar anytime, but i wouldn't recommend stepping into a different field completely without any training ~
( even his dear playwright has penned certain tragedies that ended like such. where they burned too bright they've completely

____
he's seen it, for centuries.
the wound that lark stabbed into scar's shoulder had completely healed; tissues and bones recovering without any trouble.
soon, he stands up β even carrying lark with him in his arms. )
should you really rely on those
