UK Government committed to deliver money to fund rail projects back in February.
Welsh Government are ready to go, but with only 3% of the promised funding, Labour in Westminster are holding Wales back.
UK Government derails Welsh rail vision. @markjhooper responds:
“It’s an insult to the people of Wales.
Their failure to invest in their network in Wales demonstrates the need for devolution of rail.
Wales deserves fair and reasonable funding”

The Joani Reid story has all the finest ingredients for a press frenzy, but there isn't one. That's the most interesting thing.

Tomorrow, the British Prime Minister will host an economic summit in Glasgow alongside the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales.
The DUP’s Emma Little-Pengelly has decided to block both herself and First Minister Michelle O’Neill from attending.
This is reckless and irresponsible. This is a reactive stunt driven by the DUPs own internal pressures and electoral problems.
The public should not pay the price.
It is a missed opportunity to make the case for investment, jobs, a fair budget and nurses’ pay.
Michelle has made clear to the British Secretary of State that locally elected Ministers are best placed to represent local interests.
Our focus remains on delivering for people across every community.

Together they represent one of the biggest transfers of wealth from households and businesses to the Treasury in decades – with little to show for it in public services.
Whether you're a business owner employing staff, a parent paying school fees, a farmer planning succession, an entrepreneur building wealth or simply someone trying to save for your family’s future...
- You keep less of what you earn.
- You keep less of what you invest.
- You leave less for your family.
Death by a thousand cuts.

When will we ever learn? 2 carbon capture programmes going ahead in England. £21 billion. Acorn in Scotland get promised £200 million. Now withdrawn. London will get £2.9 billion in revenues from Jackdaw. What do we suckers in Jockland get.Noise and deindustrialisation.
Learn.

So Joani Reid is married to a Chinese spy, had an affair with a military nuclear sub captain, and also an editor of a significant Scottish newspaper, and nobody thinks that's a big story?

Nothing more ridiculous than a tired Unionist trying to sound robust on defence when they said this just two weeks ago.
If this isn’t proof of the corruption that exists in Scotland I’m not sure what is.
That’s as close to a leg breaker as you can possibly get without breaking his leg.
No other team come out of that decision with 11 players, except Celtic or rangers.

For the benefit of the clowns on the west coast claiming he “didn’t touch him”. Facts are he’s lunched in out of control, foot is high and studs land directly on an opponents leg. Everything about it is a red card. The shirt he’s wearing saves him.

Before people in Scotland start rejoicing at the removal of standing charges, just remember
1 It's colder in Scotland, and we use more energy
2 The UK is one of the most expensive places for energy
Yet again, Scotland ends up paying more so that England pays less #Independence

“…the Welsh government was given shed loads of extra money last year.” — Torsten Bell, Labour MP
“Given”? People in Wales pay taxes. This is our money!
We help pay for vast projects in England like HS2, yet Wales is denied billions that could transform our own railways and infrastructure.
Westminster shortchanges Wales, then expects us to be grateful.
We deserve better. We deserve independence.
