So the morning of my surgery I had everyone wearing N95s. All were informed days earlier and the morning of. The 1st nurse to come into my room is in a surgical… I immediately inform her, she immediately gives attitude, states she can’t wear those ones bc she needs a “device”…

The lack of knowledge and active misinformation about ME is so dangerous. People don't even realize how dangerous ME itself is. We desperately need public education that's accessible to as many people as possible. Both for preventing ME & not making it worse.

I felt pressured to push through this illness and “walk my way out of it” so I decided to do 10,000 steps and I ended up crying in a field and had to get picked up. I was then in PEM for a solid 3 months from that walk alone. Don’t listen to Drs on here telling you to exercise.

53 orangutans have now been rescued from forests devastated by fires in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the scale of destruction is horrifying. More than 48,500 hectares have burned this year. Orangutans are being found starving, injured and desperately searching for food in forests that have been destroyed. These are critically endangered animals losing the very habitat they depend on to survive. How much wildlife must suffer before protecting forests becomes a priority rather than an afterthought?
