Tonight is a good one for shooting stars. The annual geminid meteor shower. Enjoy.

Now 600 miles south west of Funchal and 21c but a bit choppy

Left Madeira at 6 last night. Now have six days at sea without seeing any land. Night sky amazing out here in Atlantic

Just learnt about the death of Sir Patrick Moore . He was an inspiration to me and I wrote to him when I was 13 and still have the reply.

Arrived in Funchal this morning and it us 20c. Had some interesting heavy seas en route but calm now

About 150 km west of Lisbon at the moment heading for a sweet cake..

Many are asking where I am going do I will think of some clues. General sir John Moore rests there.

Well I am in a ship sailing through the Bay of biscay and it is rather rough. An interesting experience
