Brexit broke UK trade. New reasearch
Brexit postmortem: How trading relationshipship died
👉Brexit "led to an immediate, sharp drop in both exports and imports with the EU for the average firm. many exporters and importers stopped trading with the EU entirely."
👉Our estimates imply that, in the short run, leaving the EU reduced worldwide UK exports by 6.4% and worldwide imports by 3.1%.

After years in the making, I am happy to share a new guide for gravity estimations. Our recommendations are motivated by trade, but most of them apply broadly, e.g., to migration, FDI, etc. Mario, @SergeShikher, and I hope this is useful. Gravity rules 💪
