Tim Burton's SLEEPY HOLLOW is genuinely the greatest horror movie to watch during the Halloween season because it literally has *everything* you could want; Jack-o-lanterns, actual lanterns, creepy woods, brooding skies, seances, curses, witches, scarecrows, sword *and* gun fights, old cemeteries, a cool-looking villain, and most importantly its a ghost movie *and* slasher movie wrapped up as a murder mystery movie.

Back in May, Australia threatened US website Gab with jail time for publishing a gag order wrt a censorship hearing.
I responded by asserting my American client's rights.
Australia wrote back again, objecting and referring to my conduct as "disgraceful."

Huge congrats to Dead Meat for this. To even get a short film horror anthology into 564 theaters, even for just a single night, isn't exactly an easy task. To pull in $289,000 in that single night, in only those 564 locations, is pretty damn good. Pushing the genre forward! 👏

I dont think most writers understand how high the bar is for "interesting" when coming up with their concepts. And past having an interesting concept, it's what you do with it. How are u exploring, exploiting, and twisting your concept to make it more than just "interesting"? How are making it feel like a MOVIE?
