Masks work.
I avoided #COVID for 3.5 yrs by wearing K&N95 masks indoors anywhere not my home.
Bet. 6/21 & 23 I took them off 3 times to make publicity appearances.
On 6/25 I got ill & tested +
I tested + for 19 straight days.
Still trying to recover.
Summer plans: ☹️

Thank you for this thread Ari. It was disappointing to say the least. The people clearly love me enough to know all the lyrics and stand in the rain, but not enough to wear a mask to protect me and others. It was an amazing show with great energy, but also I felt scared and sad.

man if you're an American and you can't be happy when your fellow American gets outta prison, and on top of that you profess to be a Jesus lover when Jesus specifically came to set the captive free, full stop, well, bless your heart, anyway, and good luck at the judgement call

There is a lot of virus circulating right now. Without proper testing, without transparent data, it’s hard to understand how dangerous it is. Not only should we be avoiding infection once, we should be avoiding reinfections as best as we can.

Replying to @YanzhongHuang
"In 10 years the West will be brought to its knees b/c long-Covid..."
Is an extraordinarily dishonest translation of
"如果疫情再过十年,都不用我们打,全世界都趴下了"
(deepl.com/translator)
I've added more accurate subtitles to the video.

#LongCovid is a microvascular disease.
“The first thing to go are your smallest blood vessels… This will not show up on x-ray or CRP test.. your labs will look completely normal”

Sending love to anyone who feels alienated for being the only one in a mask around them. You are doing the right thing. You can't know all the transmission chains you are breaking, but know your choices add up 💗
I am not a fanboi. I am a participant-observer in a long-term ethnographic study of various subcultures.
I’m tired of seeing my friends consider MAiD because their lives have become unbearably isolated as the world has decided disabled folks aren’t important. This is eugenics at play. And if that seems an old outdated word then you haven’t been paying attention.
And thank you to @eugeneleeyang for being visually honest, and showing the world what disappointment, disgust, and anger truly looks like.
