As we near the end of the liturgical year, the Church invites us to think about the 4 last things & ensure that we are ready & prepared. Jesus encourages us to be like the wise bridesmaids & always ensure there is enough oil in our lamps. My homily at youtu.be/OyLTWTZv8nU

This morning I was happy to be with the students and staff of O'Gorman Intermediate Catholic School at St Joseph's Parish for Mass. In this month of praying for the dead, we had an opportunity to reflect on the reality of death and the hope of the resurrection.

Today’s Solemnity of All Saints Day is a reminder that saints are not made in heaven. They are made saints on earth and now enjoying eternal life with God in heaven. This means that we are called to be saints now, but how? My homily at mediafire.com/file/b8kao9rlb…

Today I had the opportunity to visit each of the grade 7 and 8 classes (7 in total) at O'Gorman Intermediate Catholic School to talk about the Sacrament of Confirmation. This year these students are invited to receive Confirmation and continue to grow in their faith.

Jesus’ response to the lawyer's question (what is the greatest commandment?) establishes the primacy of the Law of Love. What does it mean to love God, neighbour, and oneself? As always, the answer lies in how Jesus lived His life & His love. My homily at mediafire.com/file/wh1ecdrk2…

This evening we held our second preparation session for the 20+ candidates for First Reconciliation and their parents from the two Parishes. Please keep these young people in your prayers as they journey towards receiving the gift of God's forgiveness.

This morning I was happy to spend some time at O'Gorman High School. It was an opportunity to either celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation or have pastoral chats with students who wished to visit. Always a great experience being with these young people.
