hey campaign evolved has been out for like 3 months now does anyone (especially the people insisting this was in the game) have a clip of an uninfected dead marine or elite getting infected by the flood yet
Frog@frogarchistJul 29
>CE remake flood are based on Halo 3 flood >assume this means they can infect human/elite corpses >play entire game >don't see this happen once >"maybe I just missed it" >check online >they can't infect corpses >missing basic cool behavior that was present in Halo 3, 19 years ago

With all this new information coming out about 343/Halo Studios, blacklisting, and The Forerunners, I think it's finally time I talk in detail about my experiences interacting with 343: I've never interacted with 343

the youtube algorithm is actually amazing for small creators when I was below 100 subs I didn't have to rely on shoutouts, external promotion, or trying to rank high in search results against larger channels I just made a Dead Space 2 video and let the algo find the audience

gaming videos sponsored by the game itself are funny because it seems like half the time they flop and everyone calls the creator a shill and the other half of the time no one watching seems to care at all

now that the studio is shut down and they can't argue otherwise, I'm going to say that this was because they hate frogs

thank you Halo Studios for my early copy of Halo: Campaign Evolved (I didn't get one and I'm being passive aggressive)

Almost nothing about halo had Bible allusions.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The original Halo trilogy by Bungie contains numerous Biblical references such as the Covenant, the Flood and Ark (paralleling Noah's flood), Master Chief John-117, and the line "It is finished." halopedia.org/List_of_refere… gamedeveloper.com/business/decip…

Remember 343 Halo was awesome and is only hated by Bungie fanboys That's why their games kept failing spectacularly and why Halo largely fell out of cultural relevance for the past 10+ years. Because those dang dirty Bungie boys.

maybe this is me being too romantic about my goofy job but I feel like there's something to be said for just having your own vision for a video rather than trying to endlessly optimize everything
