UPDATE: I have multiple very credible sources confirming that Daniel Pullin is set to be terminated and that there is an emergency board meeting this afternoon.
Per a discussion from a credible poster on Horned Frog Blitz, here are specifics issues that have led to his pending firing:
• Allegedly passed out drunk onstage at a recent donor event.
• Allegedly had a handler in Dublin to keep him from drinking too much.
• Allegedly has been in and out of rehab recently.
• Allegedly had alcohol removed from his suite at football games.
Worth the read. Glad TCU is taking the first step to right the ship. But the fact Daniel Pullin was even hired in the first place by our BOT is a major red flag that needs to be investigated.
Chancellor Victor Boschini has agreed to a 4-year contract. This is incredible news for TCU.
FWIW, Boschini never liked or approved of Daniel Pullin. Many people claim that VBo handpicked Pullin as his replacement. That is completely false. The TCU board hired Pullin in spite of VBo’s disapproval.
This brings into question the decision-making of our board of trustees… might be worth exploring the removal of a few people there too.

I cannot believe this adulterous, loser is TCU’s chancellor. Not only is he a terrible person and extremely unlikable to everyone he meets. His shoes are ridiculous and he can’t even wear a suit that fits. What an embarrassment to @TCU
Omg. @UofOklahoma if you are reading this, please, whatever you do don’t steal our beloved chancellor. He is the best thing that ever happened to TCU and he is so cherished, admired, and loved by students and alumni alike. Losing him would be devastating for our university.
Please don’t take him from us. That would be so sad. I don’t know what we would ever do.
Not only is he so liked, he’s a faithful husband, a wonderful communicator, a brilliant mind, a charming personality, and he’s also extremely stylish and has great taste in shoes.

Hi @daniel_pullin, would you like to explain why you’re attending the Red River Shootout wearing Oklahoma gear? Is it because you’re trying to get the Chancellor job there? Because by all means everyone at TCU would love for you to go fuck up another school for a change.
This was one of those moments where the people you were making fun of were too dumb to realize you were making fun of them.
Look. I’m glad we once again beat Baylor (Thanks to Andy Avalos), but let’s not let that mask the glaring issues we still have. Sonny is supposed to be an offensive minded coach, and yet we have the worst rushing offense in the country. Continuing to employ AJ Ricker, should in itself, be a fireable offense. And the Gordy Sammis hire was a clear fail. What are we doing @Buddie52 ? Is there any accountability for this?
