Chaeyoung talks about injuring her eye during Idol School:
"During idol school, we had filming 2 days in a row with no sleep. That time, I couldn't take my lenses off and I didn't know the power of artificial tears so I just kept them on.
[...] I woke up and it was hurting so bad so I said I must take it off ASAP. Then the lenses weren't coming off… It was so sticky and was glued to my eye but I was being stupid.. and was so sleepy so I said let's just take it off ASAP and pulled it...?
I wanted to shower and sleep. I was too tired so I had no sense of judgement. The moment i pulled on it, I couldn't stop crying for hours and my eyes wouldn't even open so that's why during the middle of the show, I wore a eye patch for over a week and filmed. I couldn't go to the hospital for a whole month.
Whenever I would go outside to film and see the sun, the tears would come out like crazy so I told them and went to the hospital. And the doctor said my cornea was ripped."

👤: How far did you go to achieve your idol dream?
🐰: I used to live in Busan. I auditioned from an academy, passed, and went up to Seoul and in the beginning for about a month, I lived in a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna.) I’d sleep at saunas, go back to Busan to study, and come back every weekend to practice. I think I only had the passion to do well.
