Taking my tax dollars to fund schools I don’t use is not really supporting parental choice. πŸ˜‚
If vouchers were ever on for the public to vote it would fail 100 of 100 times at least 60%. I, along with most people, support parental choice but not at public expense.

In my district public school students are funded to the tune of roughly $13,100 per year. EdChoice students receive a voucher for about $8,400, yet my kids’ private school manages to get by. Most of the students could NEVER attend private school without EdChoice.
NOPE! πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ We just believe EVERY child in Ohio deserves access to FULLY funded Public Education no matter their socioeconomic status. It certainly is weird and lame πŸ˜’ to think that respecting and supporting a CONSTITUTIONAL obligation is wrong.

It’s not unconstitutional. This is an attempt by Democrats and public school unions to work around the will of Ohio voters because they know EdChoice has been popular. Also note these β€œunderfunded” students still receive a lot more funding than voucher students.
Of course it is. This will head to the Ohio Supreme Court and then to SCOTUS. In the meantime, public school kids will be underfunded and an unaccountable voucher system that sucks billions from Ohio's tax dollars will be permitted to exist.

Democrats in Ohio are working hard to tell families they can’t choose the best schools for their children.
UNANIMOUS. πŸ‘ Ohio’s appeals court has upheld the ruling that EdChoice, as structured and funded, is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. And YES, this is a PROPERTY TAX issue. When the state prioritizes private school vouchers while underfunding public schools, local taxpayers are left picking up the tab through greater reliance on property taxes. Want meaningful property tax relief? Tell the Republican Supermajority in the Statehouse to FINISH the Fair School Funding Plan AND update the cost inputs still stuck at 2022 figures! Fund today’s classrooms with today’s costs. Fulfill your constitutional duty. πŸ“šβš–οΈ

Ohio's EdChoice scholarship program remains in place as this case continues to move through the courts. Sad to see so much public time and money wasted in an attempt to take away educational options from families.
AG Wilson issued a statement today regarding the 10th District Court of Appeals’ ruling on the EdChoice Scholarship Program. Read the full statement here: bit.ly/3UsQQRS

Don’t worry, school choice friends. The Ohio Supreme Court will likely correct this error.
BREAKING: An Ohio appellate court has ruled that the EdChoice voucher program, which uses taxpayer dollars to fund private school tuition, is unconstitutional. The program can continue, as judges expect the state to appeal. @WEWS @WCPO @OhioCapJournal news5cleveland.com/news/poli…

I’ve been watching For All Mankind based on this guy’s suggestions for β€œwoke-free” shows. I’m getting the feeling he’s a bit out of touch. πŸ˜‚ For All Mankind is about an alternate reality where the Russians got to the moon first. Cool! I like space stuff…

This won't seem real to some of you, but there was a time when you would watch TV, a commercial would come on, and you would literally sprint to get a drink or pee because if you didn't make it back in time, you would miss that part of the show FOREVER.

I remember when Biden and Democrats demanded I be fired for refusing a novel vaccine technology.
Trump demanded Jimmy Kimmel be fired. He said The View should be "pulled off air." His FCC threatened ABC broadcast licenses. Now ABC is suing to defend the 1st Amendment rights Americans fought and died to defend. Sorry, Mr. Trump: we're not living in a dictatorship.

The sheer lack of reporting on Trump for the past decade due to fear of criticizing him has been harrowing.
Have been a member of the @whca almost continuously since the 1990s. Our mission is to defend the First Amendment rights of White House correspondents to report on the president without fear or favor. Unfortunately last night did not advance that cause. Time to rethink the dinner.
