Maryna Leanovich is a political prisoner in Belarus. A former fellow prisoner told @viasna96 that she suffers panic attacks and frequent suicidal thoughts. She needs urgent medical care and immediate release. We cannot wait for another life to be lost in Lukashenka's prisons.

Ahem. For those who may be unaware, Montreal is a cold *winter* city. Colder and snowier than Toronto. And it now ranks 2nd among the world’s best cycling cities. So don't even. momentummag.com/montreal-ran…

If you require a massive police presence to carry out an order that overrides the wishes of a democratically elected local government, then you have become the fascists, @OntarioPCParty @fordnation.

Is it too much to ask for publishers of articles advocating for cycling routes on secondary roads in Toronto to require their authors to submit a proposed alternative? @RDiManno, is this the sort of secondary route you're thinking as an alternative to the Yonge Street lanes?

Very cool, entertaining and with high production values: if I were @Nigel_Farage, I’d consider dipping into that £5 million to try to get out a video that can compare to it.

My moms PSW has 13 clients today. Mom was #2. PSWs pay for their own transportation - subway, gas, parking costs... PSWs are hands down primarily women, Black, Filipina, and racialized. PSWs are NOT paid enough for the full value of their work. We fought for years for increased wages and better work conditions. The fight continues. Please dont stop talking about it. Do not stop standing up for our PSWs. Premier Ford continues to hold back owed salary payments to countless women thanks to his unconstitutional wage surpressing Bill 124. Friends, us caregivers have a heavy load on our shoulders...but our load would be unimaginable without PSWs. Speak UP for them.

What should be a 2 minute walk to Campbell Park for people living on the east side of the tracks currently takes 20. And that’s just one example — the Antler-Lappin connection will provide better access to schools, services, and community facilities for everyone in the area.

Can Toronto area MPs clarify whether Ford indeed has your support to destroy tens of thousands of housing units while stripping away our environmental rights & protections for jets? @RunChiNguyenRun @EvanLSolomon @juliedabrusin @JulieDzerowicz @kbardeesy @j_maloney #cdnpoli

Can’t say enough good things about Strongmen by ⁦@ruthbenghiat⁩. Amazingly thorough history of tyrants that removes any confusion about the Donald’s actions. Published in 2020, it clearly needs to be read by more people because he still managed to win a second term.

Danish PM Frederiksen: "There are still red lines on the weapons Ukraine can use to win this war. You cannot win a war with one hand tied behind your back. We need to give them the weapons to strike inside Russia. We’ve been having this discussion for years — and we’re still having it. For the last three conferences, I’ve asked the same question: Why aren’t we providing the air defense they desperately need? Yet the response is always the same — hesitation and shrugs. They still don’t have enough air defense. You cannot protect a country without it. We know exactly what must be delivered: unrestricted long-range weapons and, of course, NATO membership. If we had made that decision in Vilnius, the situation today would be completely different. We know what to do. But first we must finally recognize, understand, and accept one hard truth: Russia will not change."

Dear @PnPCBC & @CBCNews Please stop having @KatlynHarrison on. Canadians deserve the truth, not lies. At least when they lie you should call it out. Stop letting them get away with their bullshit.
