Huge congrats to my co-supervisor, @candidamoss, for this well-deserved honour.
I didn’t share this because I was waiting for @americanacad to realize their mistake. I am astonished and humbled by this enormous honor.

I am so encouraged by the fearless, compassionate students all over our country who are calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, including those setting up encampments and risking arrest for nonviolent protests. As always, I stand against all forms of anti-semitism and hatred. Love is the only way forward. And thankfully love is not a limited resource. We must speak out against the violence of Hamas, as well as the violence of Israel. We will not build a better world by killing other people’s children. Hatred cannot drive out hatred. Violence cannot drive out violence.
Love is the only way forward.

Thanks so much for your comments. Glad it was helpful!

Super presentation, thanks. Pentecostalism's challenge to an over-privileged immanentism really resonates – both personally, in my faith (& feminist) experience, & in the context of my own research. Glad it exists in published form as I didn't take all the notes I'd have liked!

So pleased to be in this fabulous collection on Latin America and to have contributed to a chapter on Sodalicio with @rocifig. Huge thanks to Véronique Lecaros and Ana Lourdes Suárez for all their work.

Today Eli went to his first protest, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. He slept thru some of it, but did his best to show up in solidarity with all those babies in Gaza. 10 weeks old and already getting into good trouble. ❤️

Loved Edinburgh! Really enjoyed sharing the reflection at the morning worship service at Augustine United Church. Also the afternoon book launches of #NoWastelands and #JesusAndJustice. Not a bad town to have a wander! On our way home to Birmingham now. – at Scotland, United Kingdom
Looking forward to this lecture by @lexwimberly of the @corrymeela community: what is reconciliation? @ChaplaincyUoB

This is so cool!
I just got this message from the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
Pope Francis has the cross we made for him from the barrel of a gun!
Last month, we had a brilliant visit with Justin and Caroline Welby as they visited us in Philly, and stayed in our home. Justin wanted to take a cross to the Pope, which we blessed and sent off with him. And today he delivered it - just in time for the Feast of St. Francis next week! Hallelujah!🔥
