ALT She's been fostering with Fort Worth Animal Care & Control for about a year. She works from home and has time to devote to animlas in need like Brynlee. But, since she loves to travel, short-term fostering has been a perfect fit for her lifestyle! This 6-year-old pup is set to leave in 2 weeks, and while she will be missed by her foster mom, thanks to our transport program, she already has a loving family waiting for her. Fosters like Aimee show you how helping shelter pets doesn’t always require a long-term commitment but can make a big difference. Interested in becoming a foster? Send us a DM to learn how to get involved!
ALT Here are a few ways to make the transition easier: 🐾 Gradually adjust feeding and walking times by 10–15 minutes. 🐾 Keep their daily routines as consistent as possible. 🐾 Be patient! Some pets may take a few days to adjust. With a little preparation, both you and your pets can enjoy a smoother transition into the new schedule!
ALT Different personalities, same goal finding a home. HERSHEY – Just as sweet as his name! He loves being cuddled and would do best as the only dog in the home. ACE – A gentle, affectionate boy who gets along with other dogs and knows basic commands. Medical information is available upon request. CHARLIE – A smart boy, who knows several commands and can shake with both paws! He can be selective with other dogs and would do best as your only pup. TITUS – A playful guy, who gets along with other dogs and loves attention. He’d be a great match for someone who enjoys staying active! SOFIA – A laid-back girl who appreciates affection. She needs a calm, patient home that understands her stress-related litter box challenges.
ALT Giving him a place to stay, even for a short time, will help him get one step closer to his next chapter. ❤️ 📩 Interested in fostering Farron? Email us at [email protected] to learn more!
