🖖 #StarTrek Legend William Shatner Posts Tribute to Sir Patrick Stewart 💔
Posting on Instagram, the actor who played Captain James T. Kirk said:
"Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him"
OMG I forgot about this promo for Paramount+. Absolutely unhinged but Sir Patrick was so bloody funny.
Ok, i do have a neat Patrick Stewart story. He came to a Creation Convention in Tucson, AZ. Probably late Season 1 when the TNG cast first started doing appearances. So I’m like 4th in line to ask a question, and of course some of the questions are doozies…
…and Boorman’s style as more of a technical director. He told this pretty funny story about Boorman showing up to a pub where the cast was enjoying a day off and getting stuck with the bill as the actors had told the pub staff that Boorman was paying.

We are saddened to hear the passing of legendary #HawaiiFB Coach June Jones today.
He is UH’s winningest head coach with 76 wins, the master in the Run and Shoot Offense and a great mentor and teacher of the game.
Coach Jones was 73 years old. Rest in Aloha.

Farewell to this class act of a man. He attended a con in Phoenix shortly after the release of TWOK.
Back then cons were very loose affairs with almost zero security. I was waiting for some friends to show up a the downtown Hyatt and I sat down on a studs in a hallway.
I was a little starstruck, stammered out a hello and apologized as I realized I was in an area for the con VIPs. I still remember George saying “nonsense,” and the three of them proceeded spent some time talking with a 15-year-old kid who found himself in the wrong place.
