This is a personal Twitter account, so I don't talk about tech a lot as I do it at my day job. If you have questions, though, feel free to engage and I will do my best to answer. Otherwise, this is mostly chatter about interests of mine, neat ideas, & other cool folks.

Go Vote
I'm not telling you how to, but you should do it.
Even if that involves taking a friend to watch the under the weather puppy in the car while you vote.
Vote people.
I voted early this year, part to see what it was like, and part to see if it was faster/easier than previous years. Outside of the envelope and electors signing it, I would say the process is the same. But it did save me rushing around today, I guess.

4 days until #PitchYaGame, and while the world does still need to see your video games, its important to note that the landscape has changed; and is changing rapidly.
The world can; and should, still know about your games, just dont show your hand too early into the process.

"Why did you ever need cocaine? You're as fast without it as any addict," Ray Martin asked.
Robin Williams paused, his hyperactive mask slipping into a quiet reality.
"It allowed me not to talk," Williams confessed. "It was like reverse medication. It just shuts you down so you don't have to talk to people."
The world assumed he used drugs to fuel his legendary speed. The heartbreaking truth was the opposite: his mind ran at such a brutal pace that he used a deadly substance just to force his own brain to shut up.
"How vividly can you remember falling into the trap?"
"I don't," Williams admitted. "There’s a thing called a blackout. It's your conscience going into a witness protection program saying: 'I'm checking out. I'm leaving the body on, but we're not going to remember anything.'"
Enduring reality as Robin Williams was simply too painful to bear while fully conscious.
"And John Belushi's death... was that a shock?"
"Totally. But more importantly, my son," Williams said softly. "I didn't want to be coked up going, 'Hey, dad loves you.' I stopped because I realized you have a responsibility bigger than yourself."
For a moment, love pulled him back from the edge. But years later, when the noise inside his mind became deafening, Robin Williams took his own life.
We live in a culture that treats hyper-energetic creators as entertainment machines, demanding they stay turned on for our amusement.
Robin Williams exposed the quiet tragedy behind the applause.
The loudest person in the room is often fighting the most exhausting internal war. Real empathy isn't demanding someone keep performing for you - it's noticing when their soul is trying to check out, even while they make you laugh.
