Unfortunately we are on a downwards trajectory. The owners are killing the club. Any false pretense they were under that we would be able to cope with the players and the budget that they deemed acceptable has been completely squashed. Unless something changes, we’d done. #Wafc

Honestly, tactically we also do look way off it. Lump it up to Sonny Perkins who’s literally never won a 50/50 seems our only option. Not a single player in the squad with the wherewithal to take on a man. #WAFC

Worrying that we seemingly still have no idea what our starting eleven is from game to game. Personally for me, this wouldn’t be it.

We’ve got nothing; literally nothing. Ponderous, inefficient, afraid. On Danson and unfortunately, seemingly, increasingly on Caldwell. #wafc

Another day at the most normal and reasonable football club in the country; maybe second after Citeh.

One of the least gratifying performances I’ve ever seen. Ignore the referees; our decision-making, lack of confidence, lack of speed and complete lack of quality will send us down unless we address it, and quickly. Perkins and Costelloe just simply are not up to it. #WAFC

I’d call for solidarity from the #Wafc fanbase at a time like this. The team and the manager will need us more than ever this season; we must get behind them.

Here’s my angry diatribe about our lack of strikers and lack of nurture by our owners. Got to give us something to work with here, Mike. xitter.cf/pkendrickwig/status/20…

To my fellow #wafc fans I'm just one supporter. I have no experience in the football industry. I'm not an agent, broker, investor or representative of Wigan Athletic. I'm simply someone who loves this club and wants to see us back where we belong. With the club open to investment/a potential sale, I've been spending countless hours trying to do something — anything — that might help put Wigan Athletic in front of someone who could see our potential. I've been contacting people involved in sport, MLS, football ownership and investment, trying to connect our club with people who may be able to help shape its future. ( yes it sounds stupid and to many it probably is, although LinkedIn is a powerful tool) I have absolutely no financial interest in doing this. I'm not looking for anything from it. I just want the right people to see our club through our eyes. We've been through enough. But we've also achieved things that many clubs could only dream of. Premier League football. The FA Cup. Europe. And generations of supporters who never stopped believing. I genuinely believe there is another great chapter waiting to be written. So I'm trying to help find whoever might be able to write it with us. Maybe it leads somewhere. Maybe it doesn't. Infact it probably wont as again im a nobody but a fan. But I couldn't sit back and do nothing. Wigan Athletic is our club. And I'll always believe it's worth fighting for. 💙⚽️ You never know who might see it #WAFC #Latics #WiganAthletic

Interesting and easily understandable breakdown of our finances. Every day’s a school day and I do believe there is a lot to be learned here from many in the #WAFC hashtag

Sat with Carra’s granda today. There was never any bid by this implied group fronted by ex-Liverpool players. Backs what I’ve heard. The supporters club cant arrange a ‘Danson Out’ protest because, and take this as confirmation, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY US.#WAFC

There’s no question that we have quality but our front line is so unbelievably bad. Should’ve won that 5-0. #Wafc

Most of the people on here not directly involved with entities like the supporters club have literally no idea how entities like the supporters club work. Just because they’re not shouting about everything on twitter doesn’t mean they’re doing nothing. Wind your necks in. #WAFC
