MSU Denver took down #11 BHSU this afternoon (1/10/26) in a 77-73 thriller!!
MSU Denver’s Junior forward Logan Threatt stepped up in the clutch.
With the score tied at 73, Threatt drove into the lane and pulled up to hit a fade away with 40 seconds remaining.
Following a BHSU turnover, the Roadrunners got the ball into the hands of Threatt, who was immediately fouled.
Threatt went to the line and sank both free throws, making it a 2 possession game with 13 seconds remaining and giving MSU Denver the win.
As a team, the Roadrunners shot an absolutely impressive 64.7% from the 3 point line and 85.7% from the charity stripe.
Leading MSU Denver to the win were:
🏀 Garrett Falls, 20 Pts, 1 Reb, & 1 Ast;
🏀 Logan Threatt, 18 Pts, 3 Rebs, & 2 Asts;
🏀 Quave Propst-Allison, 15 Pts, 4 Rebs, & 3 Asts;
🏀 Adam Hackett, 11 Pts & 3 Rebs; &
🏀 Brian Unachukwu, 2 Pts, 10 Rebs, & 2 Asts.
