Republicans are stacking the judiciary with ideologist to align with the orthodoxy of the "Evangelicals and the richest 1%. If successful their manipulation of separation and checks and balances will be lost for decades or longer.

Congressional Republicans will be accurately described historically as traitors to the Democratically Elected Constitutional Republic. The 25th Amendment and Article II section 4 is the roadmap for a minority of Republicans to be historical heroes. They don't care, it's the $.

โ€œTrumpโ€™s criminally abusive behavior and compulsive sexual predation was no secret to his family or his business partners; it certaInly was never a secret to his lawyers, Blanche included. Neither was his money-laundering - the Trump Organization was a money-laundering outfit. It still is essentially an organized crime operation, but now they have branched out into crypto currency scams and looting the U.S. Treasury through graft and corruption. Never have such dangerous men and women gotten away with so much with so little accountability. Trumpโ€™s mob ties trace back his entire career in real estate, extending to his fatherโ€™s developments in Brooklyn and Queens. The fact that I see zero pushback on Trump using the words โ€˜military terrorโ€™ in his most recent bellicose threats to Iran shows how far he has degraded both our society as a whole and what GOP/USA has come to expect of our armed forces under Pete Hegsethโ€™s leadership. Pocket Square Pete reportedly blamed his own deputy, Stephen Feinberg, for munitions stock piles being depleted during his disastrous prosecuting of the illegal Iran war when called on the carpet by Trump at Camp David. Pathetic leadership and the last kind of coward you want in charge of the Pentagon. A man who cannot take responsibility is a man who should not have the power to put our military into harmโ€™s way. Navy sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln are reportedly enduring poor morale, food rationing and moldy showers while they endure a historically long, twice-extended deployment under dubious and dangerous circumstances.โ€ open.substack.com/pub/noelcaโ€ฆ

Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher. Ladies & Gentlemen; Please meet the President of the United States: Flew on Epsteinโ€™s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess. Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says โ€œinnocentโ€ like refusing to answer a single question about your own business. 34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. 91 criminal charges. Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how heโ€™s a great guy. 6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money. 5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty. 4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four. 2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president. 2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted. 1 fake university shut down. 1 fake charity shut down. Even his charity was a grift. Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually. Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second. A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke. Ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity. Stealing from a charity with his own name on it. Found liable for business fraud and originally slapped with a penalty topping 450 million dollars, later thrown out on appeal while the fraud finding itself stuck to him anyway. First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point. Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term. Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money. Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldnโ€™t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. Encore nobody asked for. Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars. Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again. Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway. Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back. Efficient, if your goal is chaos. Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy. Law and order, except when itโ€™s inconvenient. At least 40 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody. His familyโ€™s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office. Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets. Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone. His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year. Youโ€™re paying for this. Not China. You. Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the high 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder. None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat. It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look. So, the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out. Completely agree and I thought the others were hideous and horrific by unqualified lawless goons. How can one not be angry at this murder and what the nation has become due to a brainwashed cult we let take over as an authoritarian fascist regime twisting "faith" into violence.
They shot him, dragged his lifeless body onto the pavement, and handcuffed his corpse while his 3-year old daughter wearing Bluey pajamas watched in horror. If you say you voted for this you are an empty soulless vessel.

Poor Donald Trump. Donated his entire $400,000 salary. And what did he get in return? Just $2.2 billion, a Qatar plane, military contracts for his sons, and an IRS ruling that he never has to pay taxes again. He gives and gives to America but gets nothing back. Breaks my heart.
Despite barely any media coverage, @POTUS has consistently donated his entire $400,000 annual presidential salary. Trump deserves credit for this.

Lindsey Graham is dead at 71. In 2016, he dared America on camera: "Use my words against me." This is his obituary. These are his words. The facts first, plainly. Graham died Saturday night at his Washington home of what his office calls a brief and sudden illness. He served four terms, chaired the Judiciary and Budget committees, and spent decades as one of the loudest voices in American foreign policy. By sunrise the whitewash had begun. Trump declared him a "true American Patriot." Netanyahu called him a beloved friend. The eulogies will tell you about his service. They will not tell you about the ledger. So we will. In December 2015, Graham looked into a camera and called Donald Trump a "race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot." By February 2016: "I think he's a kook. I think he's crazy." That May he wrote: "If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed... and we will deserve it." He refused to vote for him. Then Trump won, and Lindsey Graham discovered golf. By late 2017 he was scolding the media for calling the president, yes, really, a kook. His best friend was John McCain, a man Trump mocked for being captured in Vietnam and kept mocking after he was dead. Graham wept for McCain on the Senate floor, then deepened his devotion to the man who spat on his grave. The words he wanted used came in 2016, when he swore that if a Supreme Court seat opened in an election year, the next president should fill it. In 2018 he repeated the promise and added: "hold the tape." In October 2020, as Judiciary chairman, he rammed Amy Coney Barrett onto the Court eight days before the election. In November 2020, Georgia's Republican secretary of state said Graham had called him asking about tossing legally cast mail ballots. Graham denied it, fought the grand jury subpoena all the way to the Supreme Court, and lost. On January 6th, with the glass still on the Capitol floor, he announced: "Count me out. Enough is enough." He was back at Mar-a-Lago within months. He cheered the country into Iraq. Three weeks ago he was on television promising that if diplomacy failed, Trump was "going to take the Strait of Hormuz." Honesty requires one more line: he was, to the end, one of Ukraine's most reliable champions in the Senate, and he died the day after standing beside Zelensky in Kyiv. Even a ledger this dark has an entry in the other column. But the ledger is the legacy. A man who saw exactly what Trump was, said so in the plainest English of his era, and then spent nine years kneeling to it for relevance. He asked us to use his words against him. Consider them used.

As I wrote a year ago, watch the actions of the Trump admin through the eyes of someone who has watched democracy turn into autocracy. Centralizing election authority, expanding federalized troops and putting them in the streets, cracking down on the press. It's not original.
So military troops under the direct control of Trump and Hegseth will be on the streets of our nationโ€™s capital for the rest of Trumpโ€™s term. The rationaleโ€”theyโ€™re here to help with a crime emergencyโ€”is laughable. But of course the real reason is ominous. cbs4local.com/news/nation-woโ€ฆ

It took over 10 years to wake him up, but it's progress and the emergency siren is beginning to wail.
All the signals are flashing red, the latest being @POTUS's summary dismissal of the remaining Federal Election Assistance Commission members. Put that together with political hack Pulte's odious appt as DNI; election deniers in the most sensitive oversight positions; Trump's exec order on mail-in voting, and potential use of the Postal Service as a weapon of subversion; his pathological prioritization of the SAVE act, which would be the most powerful voter suppression tool in generations; and his persistent, unfounded claims of election fraud, which he uses to justify extraordinary federal interventions. On the square, the @GOP would take a beating this fall, largely because of Trump's unpopularity. So he's setting up Plan B--do whatever you need to do to win. Anything. Anyone who says "Well, he wouldn't do THAT" hasn't paid attention. He's already proven he will! So the period AFTER the Midterms may be even more turbulent than the run up to them. The courts are going to be very busy this fall.

Did you hear this? After throwing millions off their health care insurance, Trump is now going to let insurers make loans to patients - possibly with sky high interest rates - so they can afford the Trump premiums. Just a total scam.
