My look at what's really going on with the historic Cinerama Dome on Sunset Boulevard and its adjoining ArcLight Hollywood multiplex, which have together become perhaps L.A.’s most iconic post-pandemic vacancies. hollywoodreporter.com/busine…
I visited Elon Musk's new Tesla Diner for @THR . Conceived in 2018, the project is both a throwback to midcentury car hops as well as our more recent era, when Hollywood liberals embraced the EV entrepreneur before his hard-right turn.

Gary Baum has long been one of the best enterprise reporters alive and his debut novel captures the vanity, self-deception, and plastic delusions of L.A. life as well as anything I've read in years.
Highly recommend "In Pursuit of Beauty."
It's 10 days to the release of my debut novel — an exploration of aspiration, invention, illusion & delusion. Here's an excerpt, along w/ a short essay on how my years as an investigative reporter shaped IN PURSUIT OF BEAUTY. @BlackstoneAudio @donwinslow
