I'm scaling down my usage of Twitter. Find me at hachyderm.io/web/@gctaylor if you so desire! Otherwise, thank you for making this such a special place over the last couple of decades.

A year ago, I was very happy to land the dream job at
@Twitter. Now, I'm back at searching for my next gig.
If you're hiring a staff software engineer to work on compute infrastructure challenges at large-scale with Kubernetes, hit me up on DM/LinkedIn.

All my life I’ve tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world.
I’ve decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.
Mastodon has just passed over 2 million active monthly users, a new record! People are voting with their feet. The future of social media doesn't have to belong to a billionaire, it can be in the hands of its users.

Fellow Tweeps: whichever pill you choose tomorrow, remember:
* you did great things here
* you’ll do great at whatever you do next
* this industry respects you
* don’t forget the moments and friends you made here
* you were part of something magical, celebrate it. #OneTeam
