lol. lmao, even.
The Free Speech Union (FSU) has condemned the actions of one of its own board members - political commentator Ani O’Brien - saying it does not support her case against a prominent blogger and was unaware of it until The Post first reported it last week. thepost.co.nz/nz-news/361061…

Legendary moments in New Zealand posting. "My great great uncle didn't log off".
Replying to @FrankMcRae
My great great uncle didn’t log off when he waded ashore at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 together with his mates in the 16th Waikato Company - and didn’t get to see the next day with 191 of his mates who stormed Plugge’s Plateau (only 34 lived to see the next day). Neither did my great uncle who was KIA in Egypt in 1942 and is buried in the El Alamein War Cemetery, Egypt. Neither did my grandfather who fought in the only reconstituted Anzac unit in the Second World War to hold back a division of the German army in Greece at Tempes pass, in one of the fiercest battles of that war to buy time for Allied forces to safely evacuate northern Greece. The least I can do is honour their memory, and remember and value the price and importance of the freedoms that they and many others fought for. I could go on … but maybe just maybe you might get my point.

We are actively contributing to Ukraine's defence, though, so isn't that (ongoing) condemnation of Russia's illegal invasion?

Weird, people say that ice cream helps you cool down, but it's clear that buying ice cream raises the temperature?
This needs to be posted from time to time. Bottom line, the more you build the more housing costs. Correlation is not causation but my god!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The observed correlation reflects reverse causation: high demand raises prices and prompts more construction, not vice versa. Studies show increasing housing supply moderates rent growth and lowers costs citywide. furmancenter.org/news/supply-sk… americanprogress.org/article/build-…

The proper scientific name for the gas pedal in an electric car is "accelerator". However, the scientific name for the other pedal is also "accelerator". Scientifically, "accelerate" means to "change speed", and both pedals do that. Actually, "accelerate" means "change speed and direction" of the vector. The third accelerator in the car is erroneously named the "steering wheel".
What do you call the gas pedal in an electric car? 😳 In our Tesla and the kids just asked me… Yo, I’m stuck?!? 🤯🤣

I am simply asking people nominally of the left to consider that a woman can do a job of her own without serving her husband's agenda, making her own mistakes and being wrong for her own reasons without an anti-left plot Leaving aside the fact that he is no longer in that role

i feel like this goes for many cities and many city centres every time the death of the city comes up in the discourse
Picked up a 1994 New York magazine on the street randomly as free stuff. Talking about New York being back, citing falling, crime, clean subways, improved city parks and praising Rudy Giuliani.

Sad. I don't think one regrettable moment should cost you your job. We need less cancel culture, not more.
