surely it must be wrong for a workplace to make you stand for 6/7 hours straight in the same position and only allow you to sit if you give a doctors note to prove you’re medically allowed a chair
genuinely have so much to say about wanting to give up on photography and how this year has probably been the most unwelcoming and unrewarding for me personally in this community but I’m forever having to bite my tongue to be remain civil and agreeable

Heartbroken by the death of Sir Patrick Stewart.
From Shakespeare to Star Trek, he boldly went where few had gone before, and took millions of us with him.
He never forgot his roots, nor did he shy away from using his voice to stand up for others, particularly those affected by domestic violence.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
if you consider yourself creative in any shape or form you’re doing a massive miss justice to your so called ‘talent’ in using technology that will inevitably make your work obsolete and unprofitable. you can’t love art and embrace the thing that threatens its existence

I'm convinced that William Shatner and George Takei are just staying alive to piss the other one off. It's a game of chicken.

I should also say that Walter Koenig as Chekov delivered a line in Star Trek that I’ve probably heard quoted to me more than any other line, because for several years I lived in Alameda

Walter Koenig made Star Trek history w/his voice cameo in the 2023 series finale of "Picard."
He didn't appear as Pavel Chekov; but rather President Anton Chekov, leader of the United Federation of Planets; the son of his original character.
The name was a tribute to Anton Yelchin, who'd died in 2016 and had played Chekov in the JJ Abrams films.
This made Walter the last of the original cast to appear in a Star Trek series.

"I'm gonna add a Russian to the crew to depict a peaceful future, and also give him a Monkees haircut to appeal to teenage girls" was the most wonderfully goofy late 60s thing Gene Roddenberry did. R.I.P. and hope heaven has plenty of nuclear wessels.

I'm stunned. I don't even know what to say right now. All I can say is rest in peace, Walter Koenig. 😔 🖖 #TOSSatNight
