My 23-weeker was 6 weeks old when I got my first Kangaroo cuddle thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses at @EvelinaLondon .. Despite the equipment (there was a second stand). Daddy was a week later. The girl loved it.. And look at her now.. #KangarooCareDay

COVID ECMO referrals have rocketed the last few days.
All unvacc. We haven’t had vaccinated ECMO patient ever. If pregnant & unvaccinated, please please discuss COVID vacc with your Obs/midwife urgently. Vaccination is the only way out of this. @NHSEngland @MidwivesRCM @RCObsGyn

@BethPascall is a paediatrician who cancelled her OOP to work during the pandemic & then has gone and done this?! For me as someone who tried to play a bit of rugby & rowed (badly)during my paeds training, the otherworldliness of this achievement cannot be overstated! #paedsrocks
