i ain’t letting a few inconveniences rob me of a beautiful life. some shit you fix, some shit you laugh off & some shit you leave for tomorrow. either way, i’m eating good, sleeping peacefully & finding me something to smile about.
you can meet a thousand people who tell you they’re down for you. finding somebody who actually means it when there’s nothing left to celebrate? that’s where the numbers get real small.
a lot of shit stop feeling personal once you realize most people are just repeating patterns they never had the discipline to fix.
i was never interested in what you could do for me. i wanted to see what we could become together. that’s why losing me was different. you didn’t lose somebody looking for a come up, you lost somebody who genuinely wanted to see you win.
i don’t need to announce every move i’m making. there’s something satisfying about letting people discover what you’ve accomplished after the work is already done.
you can buy an image, borrow somebody’s connections & talk like you got motion. but you can’t fake the discipline it takes to consistently produce results.
i ain’t interested in looking accomplished. i wanna actually have something to show for all the years i spent betting on myself when nobody was paying attention.
keep teaching somebody how little they mean to you & eventually the lesson stick. just don’t get in your feelings when they finally move accordingly.
some people spend more time convincing the world they’re successful than actually doing the work to become successful. i’d rather have the results than the reputation.
i don’t need a crowd cheering for me to know i’m doing something right. the hours i put in, the sacrifices i made & the results i get speak louder than anybody’s approval ever could.

Holding on to a version of someone that doesn’t exist anymore is such a stupid feeling.
