i wouldn't hand my credit card to a stranger and say spend whatever you think makes sense but that's basically what we're about to do with ai agents by 2035 there could be 900 billion of them. 100 for every person (booking our flights, paying our bills, trading our money) to be fair, the apps running them already have limits (robinhood's agents have rules and coinbase's agents have rules) but those rules only work inside that one app the moment an agent moves my money across apps, wallets, or onchain, there's no shared rulebook, and no way for me to check what it actually did. i'm just trusting each company. that's the opportunity i'm watching. not smarter agents, but permissions that travel with the agent and that anyone can verify every time an agent touches money, it'll need that layer.
