Reid Hoffman, LinkedIn co-founder, has given $16.5 million to Lone Star Rising, the independent super PAC supporting Texas Democrat JAMES TALARICO’S Senate CAMPAIGN. Breakdown from FEC filings: • $500,000 (Jan 27, 2026) • $1 million (Feb 23, 2026) • $10 million (June 30, 2026) • $5 million (Oct 9, 2026) These are unlimited contributions to the super PAC, not direct donations to Talarico’s campaign. Super PACs are barred from coordinating with the candidate. Talarico’s team has stated they have no control over the outside money. No public evidence of an in-person meeting between Hoffman and Talarico related to the donations. The support has drawn scrutiny because of Hoffman’s past EPSTEIN associations and TALARICO’S CAMPAIGN RHETORIC AGAINST BILLIONAIRES INFLUENCE and “BIG MONEY” in POLITICS.
