🚨LA: This could be a wave election for the progressive movement in our city, but it ALL depends on turnout, and young people are VASTLY underrepresented among voters. If you want to build a better LA, remind your friends to vote or put their ballot in the mail TODAY!🚨

What really bothers me about all this hbo/netflix treatment of animation is the narrative that these shows weren't profitable and thus, cutting them makes sense. (small thread)

I'm not sure even popularity can save animated shows at this point, but keep watching cartoons! We won't go quietly.

cool animated shows coming out soon so you can watch and support them, and show the executives that you want more, a thread🧵:

Extremely devastated for all of my sweet Cartoon Network friends who were only trying to make beautiful and hilarious stories and share them with the world. I spent last night watching their shows and my own before they disappear. This can't be the way.

We worked for 5 years to make 100 episodes of animation. We worked late into the night, we let ourselves go, we were a family of hard working artists who wanted to make something beautiful, and HBO MAX just pulled them all like we were nothing. Animation is not nothing!

For those who don't know, being axed so far into pre-production is NUTS. Netflix has done this to a number of projects, and it's wildly destructive to the animation community.

Wasn't sure if I was going to weigh in, but the continuing trend of Netflix canceling great projects has me 😡 I was the other Co-EP on Bone, and let me tell you, our tiny crew was gearing up for a really great adaptation. Hopefully Netflix's loss will be another studio's gain.

Well, looks like the word is out. I was co-executive producer for the Bone series at Netflix. It was going to be so good!! We had a great team and were finally trying to bring this story to life on the screen. <sigh> comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/…

Have you checked out Infinity Train Book 3 on HBO Max yet?! Incredible opening sequence boarded by @peroroh
Justin Michael@heyjustin3 Sep 2020
Sometimes you gotta write the opening number to a musical that doesn't exist so you sing it in the shower and record it in your closet and eventually @chromecanyon records a better version, but at first... it's this. Storyboards by @peroroh! #infinitytrain
