Advancing Sustainable Cocoa in Assin Nyankomase.
Sustainable cocoa production requires continuous dialogue and collaboration. Today, the SECO Green Commodities Programme (GCP III), in partnership with the Ghana Cocoa Forest REDD+ Programme (GCFRP), continues its HIA engagements with the Kakum Hotspot Intervention Area (HIA) Management Board in Assin Nyankomase.
This engagement focuses on strengthening local governance structures, enhancing landscape management, carbon benefit distribution and promotion of sustainable farming practices that benefit both farmers and the environment. By working together, we can build a resilient cocoa sector that supports livelihoods while safeguarding Ghana’s forests.
