one mini theory i have is that one of the reasons lu guang doesn’t tell cxs the truth is bc he’s scared cxs won’t give him his powers if he died again, bc he’d know how much pain it brought lu guang and would want the time loop to end then & there

i don’t think it’s the only reason or the main reason why lu guang doesn’t tell him (i think there are many), but i do like to think that even if everything else wasn’t an issue, this would still hold him back at least a little

i’m gonna be honest. i really hope they don’t have xia fei align with the main trio. i’m sorry but imo that’s probably the most boring direction he can go in as a character. i’d much rather they explore his moral grayness & self-prioritization!

“redeemed villain trope” feels very reductive for xia fei’s situation, and to do it before he even has a chance to BE a villain would be so bland, esp after all the time spent setting him up as an antagonist😭😭i’d much rather he not conform to either sode & prioritize HIS agenda
