This year at @defcon @SecureAerospace and @LockheedMartin has brought a really cool contest and badge again. This time the skunk works SR71. One of the coolest planes to ever fly. What’s next year, the U2?
Ok @UPS how do you manage to lose something this heavy and large with 3 copies of the label and an AirTag inside in under 24 hours?
I am incredibly stoked and honored to announce that my talk "Render Safe: Reverse Engineering and Exploiting an EOD Robot" blackhat.com/us-26/briefings… was accepted for Black Hat USA 2026. I will be presenting the material alongside @astradotpng in August. I will bring (hopefully) working robots with me on stage. We will also have the robots at the @CarHackVillage during DEF CON for a really challenging and fun contest with a grand prize, more details to follow.
I recently read the book Skunk Works by Ben Rich. It’s about the organization that created the SR-71, U-2 and F-117, great read. The @SecureAerospace has staff from @LockheedMartin, the same company. They are running a CTF where you can win the coolest badge shaped like an F-35.
Really @HelloFresh? Trying to give your customers food poisoning? I could tell the protein packages were leaking from outside the box.
My workshop is on this list, Sunday morning after the parties sounds like a fun time to be messing around with soldering irons and hot air!
Three #DEFCON workshops. All hands-on. All led by Google experts.

I would have been in so much trouble. Those logic analyzers and usb to uart adapters are deadly weapons.
New from 404 Media: here is the list of ‘hacker tools’ security at a #DEFCON hotel are searching rooms for
- flipper zero
- WiFi pineapple
- soldering kits
- lockpicks
We obtained and published full list here: 404media.co/here-are-the-hac…
The villages are one of the things that make Defcon great. Shout out to the @SecureAerospace village for letting me show off my avionics kit and for hosting the crew that made the darkstar badge, one of the coolest ones at the conference.

I created defrom.lol/ which make's it easier for #DEFCON32 attendees to flash their badge with custom GB ROMs, as well as provide a way to revert to original firmware.
We also have a patched copy of the DEF CON game that is 100% completed with some fun cheats.
A couple of years back I decided to create a tool to make it easier to connect to embedded hardware. Next week I get to talk about it at three security conferences in Las Vegas. The tool was published as open-source on Google's github at github.com/google/serberus.
Next is Bsides, this is more talk than demonstration, but will include shorter demos.
