The jingle bells were tied around the necks of black slaves so that slave masters could hear them trying to escape at night, also making it easy for dogs to hear them.
That is how jingle bells originated and were later incorporated into Christmas, a day set for Roman pagans to worship their sun god.

A new chapter begins for the Democratic Party. I sincerely thank the members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) for their confidence in me and their unanimous resolution to reinstate me as the Party Leader with immediate effect, subject to ratification by the National Delegates Convention (NDC) later this year. This decision is not just a personal honour, it is a call to action as we work together to rebuild, re-energize, and reposition our party for the future.

I really don't get those calling for dialogue between President @WilliamsRuto and Hon @RailaOdinga. What will they talk about...the weather? Arsenal winning the Premier League? A young lady using the "F" word against JAKAKIMBA? Or DJ Fatxo and his 3rd rate Kampala trained lawyer?
