Be intentional with your brushes. Mine: sketch, hard round for blocking, hard + soft for edges, opacity for value shifts, airbrush for softening. A limited set means an answer for every step. Also set rotate brush to a hotkey, its OP
Soft light for the colour, then burn, dodge, screen and multiply to tune the forms and values. Method from @eraknote, brush from @xutunzi. Been a while since I did a full render and im enjoying it a lot

For that reason, a LOT of what AI artists create is slop w/o much substance or thoughtful design. But people shouldn’t be discouraged from making AI art
Art is for everyone + AI generative tools are just another medium which has made art even more accessible than it already was
