I am just so in love with his voice.
So menacing and sinister.

As a writer, I acknowledge that my fics are downloadable and therefore spreadable using Ao3. I just donโt think itโs asking much for people to return to Ao3 & leave a kudos if they enjoyed the fic. Especially since so many of yโall act like you canโt go an entire day without it.

if ao3 means so much to you and is such a big part of your daily life that you feel the weight of its absence now, let it also be a reminder about the importance of leaving kudos and comments even if its just a simple "i loved this!" to show writers you care about their hard work

all of the countries preparing for outages told us to buy water and canned food but we didnโt think of downloading a monthโs worth of ao3 for this

Kikyo is such a complex character. ๐ค I love her~
Sheโs not simply a tragic woman who lost the person she loved. She was someone who was burdened by duty, was deceived by someone she trusted, and died with her heart full of pain and misunderstanding. Even death did not grant her peace. She was brought back against her will, resurrected with the fragments of her soul that carried her deepest resentment and anguish, into a world that had moved on without her.
People often remember her bitterness and hostility, seeing her as cold, unforgiving, or even a villain. But beneath that anger was a woman who once loved deeply, dreamed of a different future, and had that future cruelly taken away from her.
What makes Kikyo so intriguing to me is that, despite everything she endured, she was never entirely consumed by revenge. She continued to help others, protect the innocent, and fight against Naraku. Her pain shaped her, but it never erased her compassion or defined the entirety of who she was.
Perhaps thatโs the tragedy of Kikyo: a woman so often misunderstood, judged by her anger, yet rarely understood for the heartbreak that lay beneath it. Everyone saw the bitterness, but not everyone saw the woman who was still hurting.
And a heartfelt tribute to Rumiko Takahashi-sensei for creating such an unforgettable character. Kikyo is, to me, one of the most compelling characters in manga and anime โ a testament to the depth, complexity, and humanity that make her storytelling so enduring. ๐ค๐น
