₦250,000 and a full day away from your business. Is it worth it?
If you’re considering Structure & Scale Retreat 2.0, that’s a fair question. I know how carefully founders have to weigh every expense, especially now.
But I also know how much we can lose through unclear responsibilities, poor hiring decisions, weak processes, inadequate execution capabilities, poor data insights and growth plans that never become action. Those costs rarely arrive as one obvious bill. They show up in repeated mistakes, lost customers, wasted stock and a founder who has to supervise everything.
Sometimes, we need to step away long enough to see what needs to change.
That’s why I am recommending the Structure & Scale Retreat 2.0, hosted by my partner and So Fresh co-founder, Abimbola Balogun. I’ll also be speaking on Leadership Intelligence, sharing lessons on developing managers, sharing responsibility and helping others lead.
Alongside me:
• @AyoBankole will help you turn growth ambitions into a clear strategy with measurable revenue and profit goals.
• @Babajiide will unpack execution frameworks, repeatable processes and using data to improve operations.
• @Triciabiz will explore how strategic marketing translates into customers, sales and repeat business.
• @JoyceeAwosika will share lessons on expanding across locations without losing control.
• @Abimsbalogun will address the people systems needed to hire, develop and retain a capable team.
Bring the challenges you’re currently working through. There’ll be speed coaching, practical tools and conversations with other founders who understand the pressure of building.
You’ll also receive a growth strategy document, speaker replays and three months of post-retreat coaching to support implementation.
One day won’t do the work for you. But it can help you see the problem more clearly, make better decisions and leave knowing what to do next.

Meetings don’t solve problems. Decisions and execution do. That’s why every meeting should end with three things: what needs to happen, who owns it, and by when.
If people leave your meeting without knowing what must happen next, it’s not much different from having a beer parlour gist session. Meetings should not end with good ideas, strong opinions, and general agreement with no clear action.
Why the same issues come up week after week, is often because nobody took ownership.
So, before every meeting ends, confirm:
1. What needs to happen? Agree on the specific next action.
2. Who owns it? Assign responsibility to one person, not “the team.”
3. By when? Set a clear and realistic deadline.
Clear actions, owners and deadlines are what turn meetings into progress.

If this is correct, it appears it's only in Lagos that this coastal road entered inside the beach 🤔.
How do they intend to navigate the treacherous creeks, swamp, and deltas once they cross Ondo? This is looking like a 50-year project, if the messiah tarries.
Everybody knew.
It was visible, even to the blind that it was a Lagos project.
