$SPY $QQQ — THE GLACIERPATH TRADING BEAR MARKET ROADMAP
I believe we are entering a prolonged bear market, and I think the downside could be substantially larger than most investors are currently anticipating.
What would change my mind?
There is ONE condition that would invalidate my bearish thesis: SPY reclaiming $810 and holding above it for more than one full month.
Until that happens, I remain firmly bearish.
My primary downside target is $350–$420 on SPY, with a potential final bottom somewhere between January and March 2028.
However, if this evolves into a full-blown economic depression, I cannot rule out an extreme downside scenario of $180-290 on SPY.
Here is how I currently see the path unfolding:
2026
November: Initial market bottom.
December: Significant bear market rally, potentially extending into January.
2027
March: Major market bottom.
April–May: Bear market rally.
June–July: Another major market bottom.
August–September: Another bear market rally. Likely, pretty weak. Major funds collapse.
October–December: Final capitulation and panic-driven crash.
Late 2027: Sometime in mid to late 2027, Government intervention including Ai Sovereign Wealth Fund, liquidity measures, or bailout response as financial stress escalates.
2028–2032: Prolonged recovery, potentially culminating in another major speculative cycle and eventual market panic.
EXTREME BEAR CASE:
A deep economic depression could push SPY toward $180–$290. This is not my base-case target, but it is a downside scenario investors should consider.
I don't believe this will be a straight line down. I expect violent rallies, false bottoms, and periods where it feels like the bull market has returned.
Those rallies are part of what makes bear markets so difficult to navigate.
My focus is not on predicting every move. It's on recognizing the larger cycle, managing risk, and being positioned appropriately when the market's underlying trend changes.
Part of winning is not losing. Welcome to your first bear market.

$GME — Patience Is a Position.
One of the biggest advantages of our work at GlacierPath Trading has been keeping our clients from rushing into positions before the technical picture warrants it. Sometimes protecting capital means knowing when NOT to trade.
We correctly identified the distributive top around $28, and rather than chasing price, we’ve remained patient as GameStop worked through its corrective structure.
Now, with $23 providing solid support, we’re open-minded about what comes next.
Our base case remains a prolonged period of sleepy, sideways price action into Christmas. We believe consolidation is still the most likely outcome.
However, if $27+ is taken out, we have to adjust our thinking. That would force us to seriously consider the possibility that a rising bullish channel is developing. What initially looked like distribution could ultimately resolve into a bullish continuation structure.
We aren’t married to a bearish or bullish narrative. We’re married to the price action.
For now, patience remains the strategy. Let the market prove its next move before committing capital.
That’s the difference between reacting to every candle and having a plan.

$VIX at 25 and we got literally no movement today- this i think does not bode well for the market over the weekend.
Volatility extreme expansion or contraction incoming.
$SPY FREE PUBLIC INSIGHT predicting daily price action is not part of the glacier system overall, but it’s fun to take a shot at it here: if $743 doesn’t clear in next couple hours I think we find ourselves back around $730 possible even $720-725

When you have only ever been rewarded for buying every dip, you buy every dip. So far they have been right and with how they are invested it will be exactly one time that they will get to be wrong.
$SPY $QQQ there are still a plethora of “what crash? We are barely off all time highs!!!” People
This has just gotten started. As I said, you won’t see half the trading accounts on here in a couple years. I will be there though.. working hard every single day.
No crash or massive bull rally will ever delete my portfolio because I’ve been there several times and got to experience the total depression and misery that it comes with it.
Anyone think this comes true on $VIX?
$SPY $QQQ $VIX $GME $AMC I believe VIX will hit its all time high in a left-tail severe risk event....unfortunately.. any moment now til end of December. Favoring closer to November
$SPY -25%-45%
