Almighty God, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you: pour your love into our hearts and draw us to yourself, and so bring us at last to your heavenly city where we shall see you face to face; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

In light of the horrific anti-Muslim hatred across the UK, people of all faiths and beliefs need to keep our communities connected, not divided. Please reach out to Muslim friends and neighbours, and if you witness anti-Muslim hate, please report it to the Police & @TellMamaUK

Prayers for Gareth Southgate and all the @England team tonight. Despite the result, you have won something no one can take away: our deepest admiration, and a place in the history books. Congratulations to Spain on your victory and a wonderful tournament.

On this 10th anniversary of the vote for women bishops, giving thanks for all my female episcopal colleagues in the Church of England. May we open the gates to all who have been excluded and amplify the voices of those who have not yet been heard. ‘My soul doth magnify the Lord.’

Today, as we reflect on the issue of defence, let us pray for those tasked with making decisions in this area and for the women and men of the armed forces who carry them out. Reflect on daily themes as we near the #GeneralElection, at cofe.io/PrayYourPart. #PrayYourPart

Today we celebrate the wonderful contribution of the #WindrushGeneration to life in Britain, and particularly to the @churchofengland and vibrant expressions of faith and worship across the country. I continue to pray for justice and healing for those impacted by the Windrush scandal, who were made to feel unsafe in the communities they had built and supported.
