Non-metal fans believing their opinion on metal matters is how we got shit like President and Sleep Token—and octanecore
Replying to @prog_1211
Nobody gives a shit what a non-metal fan has to say about metal, as you may have noticed
this pic for BATS rips, but I have this weird autistic vendetta against trey wearing this school shooter trench coat in the photo. This shot would look a thousand times better with the schott perfecto jackets like the one he was wearing before during altars. Not that it matters

This is the correct take. It's not fair to say someone has to suffer to make others happy. If he felt like he needed to go then that's his decision to make
A band that...
I hate: girschool & taylor swift

Underrated: pantheon (USA)
I love: goatpenis
I always listen to: cannibal corpse

See this is a great demonstration of why image/attitude matters. It doesn’t help that FEAR is one of the coolest bands ever BUT…
Turnstile brought hardcore back to SNL, 45 years after FEAR made punk rock history.
John Belushi, a fan of the LA band, pushed to get them booked for SNL’s 1981 Halloween episode, and FEAR bussed in a group of punks from Washington, DC, to join the action, slam-dancing, moshing, and rushing the stage during the set. Eventually, a fight broke out between the DC punks and the NYC crowd.
Afterwards, newspapers reported that the band caused hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage and that FEAR was banned from the show (not true, although they did pay a small fine), and police allegedly chased punks through Rockefeller Center after the show, leaving hardcore to disappear from SNL for 45 years.
This weekend, Turnstile changed that.
Drummer Daniel Fang set the tone early, opening “BIRDS” with a vicious drum solo before tearing through the rest of the song with the rest of band. For their second appearance of the night, the Baltimore band kept the energy high with a medley of “I CARE” and “DULL.”
In 1981, FEAR brought punk rock onto national television, something the mainstream may not have been ready for. 45 years later, after Grammy wins and festival main stages, Turnstile showcased hardcore as one of the biggest growing bands in the country.
R.I.P. CRONOS
not the biggest venom fan, but I've yet to hear a record as raw as this, despite them having a billion imitators, so that's saying something. The true big three of metal are black sabbath, motorhead and venom
objectively best guitarists off the top of my head:
brian may, gary moore, glenn tipton, adrian smith, randy rhoads, andy larocque, robert fripp, steve hackett, andrew latimer
non-rock ones like paco de lucia, allan holdsworth, ted greene, kurt rosenwinkel, etc. don't count
