A good first step. We are so far behind in energy infrastructure. Pushing for total reliance on solar and wind completely hobbled the path towards cheap reliable energy.

It's been over 10 years since Bioware made a good game. After that track record, no one believes that THIS game would be amazing.

WE ARE HIRING PLAYERS - QA TESTERS Want to break into the games industry? We noticed that our community testers were on average reporting higher quality more specific bugs than our outsourced QA teams. We have for years required applicants for all roles submit their Steam recently played when applying to @BULKHEAD, contraversial 'apparently'... but we just want people who give a shit about what they do.. call it passion, call it drive, call it obsession.. whatever you want.. The games industry has been pretty weak for the last 6 or 7 years, but it's getting good again.. If you're interested in working in an industry where you get to make something that people play, be part of a team, and work on something you care about, apply for this. It's an entry level role, you must be in the UK, and it's hard work.. But if you want a way in? Here's an opportunity, we don't care if you're experienced or not.. just that you care. Please retweet and help get this in front of someone who might make a life changing decision and join a pretty cool industry as it turns a corner again. careers.bulkhead.com/jobs/85…

When something beautiful dies, you mourn it. But when something beautiful has been poisoned and suffering for a long time, you mourn what it once was, not what it became, and feel some relief knowing it is finally at the end.

Lots of talk about the gun policies of other countries following the terrible shooting in Oregon. We actually have a perfect case study with our neighbor to the north. Canada has always had a much lower homicide rate than ours, even when their gun laws were much more similar to our own. Beginning in 2019 though, Canada massively cracked down on guns. Among many other changes, in 2022 the country banned the sale of new handguns. That's the longtime dream of the American antigun movement. Also in 2022, the US went a very different direction, as the Bruen ruling forced several large states to finally begin issuing carry permits. Around the same time, many large states like Florida and Texas went even further and embraced permitless carry. The antigunners all predicted doom, as usual. And the result? Homicide has fallen faster in the US than Canada since 2019, and the difference is even more dramatic if you start counting in 2022. We are also set to decline even more in homicide this year, based on FBI data for the first six months of 2026. In fact, Canada only finally saw a decline below the 2019 level in 2025. Every other year was above the 2019 baseline. The gun control movement's core premises are bullshit.

The issue isn't that he climbed El Capitan. The real issue here is a father who's fully engaged with his children instead of being absent. And that's a THREAT to a lot of parents out there that just put their kids in front of screens all day.
A Colorado dad, who climbed Yosemite's El Capitan with his 7-year-old son, revealed that someone called child protective services to question his parenting abilities.

Without the writer and the director that made the first movie so amazing, this means nothing.

My work phone sits on my desk, charging and connected to WiFi 98% of the time. The 2% of time that I need to use it, is the exact time it must shut down for 20 mins for "managed updates".

The redemption arc of No Man's Sky is unparalleled in gaming. In 2026 when AAA gaming studios are driving away their fan bases and trying to extract every penny from their players, there is ONE studio that continues to add to the experience without asking for anything in return.

I think I might need to just bite the bullet and get a new GPU. I've been playing on a 3070 TI for 5 years now, upgraded everything else over the years, but it feels like the 8GB of vram on the card is a severe bottleneck at this point.

I know I'm going to be in the minority, but that didn't inspire any hope. The animations look worse than RDR2, the writing in those segments ranged from passable to awful. The only saving features were the city scapes and the cars.

I feel like I'm one of the few people that isn't hyped for GTA6. Almost everyone that made GTA 5 and the previous amazing games, haven't been at Rockstar for years. The difference between GTA6 and Marathon, is that Rockstar will already have your money.

I'm not rooting for their failure, and I would be happy to be proven wrong. But I'm not keeping my hopes up, and I'm certainly not preordering anything.

This seems more like a reading comprehension test that the majority of the world is currently failing.
Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
