Every two years, our EMTs and paramedics take part in EMS refresher training to review medical skills, practice techniques and stay current with changes in emergency medicine. Here's a look at some of that training.
HM 181 made it to the finish line! Our HazMat crew was at NASCAR this past weekend, and when people got the chance to sign the finish line, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to add HM 181. Another successful race weekend!

6.4 miles of fire hose! That's 33,600 feet tested this year across our eight fire stations and backup supply. Each year, our hose is inspected and pressure tested. Our ladders are tested annually, too, including how they flex under weight.

A little recognition for four of our cadets who volunteered at a recent Helping One Woman event. They greeted guests, helped people find their seats and stepped in wherever needed. Just one of the experiences our Cadet Program provides while preparing for the fire service.

Safe Kids Child Passenger Seat Event at Target
Look at those vehicles - The best part, those car seat passengers are now 27 years old... or older!
Some things change, but keeping kids safe on the road never goes out of style.
Quite the view from Station 186 this morning. Keep an eye on changing conditions and slow down on wet roads. If you come across water covering the roadway, don’t risk it. Turn around and find another way.
