Don't go into a relationship thinking you could change your partner, let alone a marriage. In fact, a marriage is designed to reveal problems and incompatibilities between the two of you, instead of fixing them. Now if you genuinely want things to change, you might want to consider (premarital) therapy to work out your issues before you walk down the aisle.
