Minnesotaâs media handled Tim Walz with soft hands, and the moment he reached the national stage, he imploded under scrutiny he had never faced back home.
Letâs see if they can redeem themselves by actually pressing Klobuchar on this.

Amy Klobuchar issued over 1,000 press releases during the period when Feeding Our Future fraud was happening, without mentioning fraud once.
Now sheâs claiming she fought to secure additional federal prosecutors.
But DOJ records show that Minnesotaâs U.S. Attorneyâs Office added five positions focused on Tribal public safety and missing or murdered Indigenous people, not to fight fraud.
The office had 59 attorneys in 2022 and reportedly 64 before the departures in 2025.
So where are the additional fraud prosecutors Klobuchar says she fought for?
And why isnât the local media pressing her for answers?

đ¨BREAKING: ICE says the man featured in a 60 Minutes deportation segment claimed he was gay to avoid being sent back to Mali â even though he has a wife and two children.
The program portrayed Moussa Diawara, 57, as a âTexas fatherâ who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record and worked as an Uber driver. It showed his family reacting to his removal and said he was sent to Mali despite an earlier judgeâs finding that he faced risk there.
ICE says the report left out that Diawara was in the country illegally and already had a final order of removal from a judge in 2012. According to the agency, he claimed he was homosexual and feared persecution in Mali in order to block deportation, a claim officials say is contradicted by the fact that he is married to a woman and shares two children with her.
DHS officials pulled his file and highlighted the claimed reason for protection. ICE posted that the segment highlighted an illegal alien and his family but omitted that he said he was gay to dodge removal to his home country.
60 Minutes described him as a longtime resident detained after finishing a night shift. ICE says the full record shows a man who overstayed a visa, received a removal order years ago, and made a specific claim about his sexual orientation that the agency views as inconsistent with his family situation.
The agency is now publicly questioning why the broadcast did not include those details.

While Hasan Piker, the man who said "America deserved 9/11" and would "vote for Hamas over Israel every single time," was being welcomed in Minneapolis, these DFL leaders were smiling for photos.
Not one of them would directly condemn him. Ilhan Omar co-hosted his event. Keith Ellison once praised him for doing a "good job" on his stream. Peggy Flanagan wouldn't even say his name.
Klobuchar, Craig, Frey, and even the DFL chair spoke up. These leaders stayed silent.

This educator is claiming an 8-year-old student asked if theyâd be remembered like Anne Frank because they âhave to live in hidingâ from ICE, then added the dramatic nonsense that this is what it means to be an âAmerican in 2026,â hiding like Anne Frank.
First of all, there is zero chance an actual 8-year-old independently knows who Anne Frank is and is drawing that comparison on their own. If some kid is saying that, itâs because the adults around them have been actively indoctrinating them and comparing ICE to the Nazis. Thatâs not education, thatâs deranged propaganda, and itâs crazy.
Second, not a single U.S. citizen or legal resident is subject to deportation by ICE. So if someone is hiding, that means they shouldnât be here in the first place.
For a supposed educator to stand there and repeat this unhinged, fact-free nonsense is absolutely wild. Sheâs either willfully ignorant or deliberately lying to kids, and either way, itâs a disgrace.
