Thank you to everyone from Bow and beyond who joined our public meeting on the use of Victoria Park for festivals.
This isn’t about stopping people having fun over the summer, it’s about finding a solution that works for local residents and keeps the park accessible to all.
Alongside my neighbouring Labour MPs @rushanaraa and @meghilliermp, we’ve heard your concerns loud and clear.
We are united in making sure your voices are heard by Tower Hamlets Council and AEG, and that you have a real say as residents in decisions about the park’s future.
Victoria Park is the People’s Park – and it’s only right that the people have a say in how it’s used.
Watch to hear more about our next steps 👇🏾

The ocean connects us all, and protecting it is a responsibility we share.
Protecting our oceans enhances our collective security and ensures that we leave the world in a better place than we found it.
Yesterday’s signing of the Hamilton II Declaration marks an important step in building international support for the conservation of the Sargasso Sea and delivering on our global ambitions for nature and climate.
