Funnily enough, the genius mentioned something that completely contradicts what they wrote down. Apparently the MacBook doesn't have power but the trackpad works and it shows up in Configurator, so???

Forgot to continue this thread, so here's an update! Went back to support who basically said they should've fixed it and they ended up calling the store and set up a repair for me. Dropped my laptop in and hopefully it works again by Thursday!
Sidenote: despite being harder to setup my hackintosh has been pretty flawless, especially once installing a broadcom chip which allows native Wi-Fi + Bluetooth
