Steve Jobs was worth over $200 million at 25. He paid his daughter $385 a month.
Her mother cleaned houses and went on welfare. The county had to sue him to pay it back.
In the video below, his daughter Lisa talks about growing up with him.
Jobs was 23 when she was born. He helped pick her name. Then he denied she was his.
A DNA test said he was the father. He told Time magazine that 28% of men in America could be.
The same year, Apple went public. He became one of the richest young men in the country.
He named a computer after her: the Apple Lisa. For years, he refused to admit it.
One day her mother was on the phone with him, sobbing, begging for money. Lisa, a little girl, took the phone and said: “Just give her some money.” Then she hung up.
Another time, her mother asked him for a house. He said yes. Then he bought one for himself.
At 14 she moved in with him. His condition: she couldn’t see her mother for six months.
Years later, he was dying of cancer. She sat by his bed.
“The thing he kept on saying is, ‘I owe you one, and I’m so sorry.’”
Did she forgive him?
“I think not at the time.”
“In many ways, yes.”
When her memoir came out, his widow and his sister released a statement: her story “differs dramatically from our memories.”
The case for Jobs: he was young, he came back, and he tried to make it right before he died.
The case for Lisa: a billionaire’s daughter shouldn’t have grown up on welfare.
He named a computer after her. He wouldn’t say she was his. On his deathbed, he said, “I owe you one.”
Was “I’m sorry” enough, or did it come 30 years too late?

The US accepted Afrikaner refugee families, booked their flights, then cancelled everything at the last minute.
Families sold everything. Now they are stranded with nothing. No appeal. Whole families blacklisted for life.
Rogue USCIS employees are actively blocking Afrikaners while the same organisations fight a court battle to reinstate non-white refugees.
Hundreds of families have now asked for the entire program to be investigated for sabotage.

South Africa is officially the online gambling capital of the world. 🇿🇦
Nearly 1 in 3 internet users gambled online in the past month, compared to just 10.2% in the US.
This isn’t an achievement to celebrate. It’s a warning sign about financial desperation, addiction and the growing cost of living.

Sam Altman: There are three ways superintelligent AI could go catastrophically wrong, and the world isn’t taking the threat seriously enough.
“An adversary could use superintelligence to design a bioweapon, take down the power grid, or break into the financial system.”
“Category two is loss of control, where the AI is like, ‘I don’t actually want you to turn me off.’”
“The third category is where the models kind of accidentally take over the world.”
“They become so ingrained in society and so much smarter than we are that we can’t really understand what they’re doing.”
“Even without a drop of malevolence, society can just veer in a strange direction.”

‼️ Ubuntu and Red Hat still have no fix for a Linux kernel flaw that Anthropic says its unreleased AI model turned into a remote root exploit.
The bug, CVE-2026-98432, is a use-after-free in the IPv4 TCP handshake, rated 9.8 out of 10.
The exploit needs no credentials and targets servers with a multipath TCP listener, which Go 1.24 and later open by default.
The fix reached stable kernels on 11 October and Debian has shipped it. Ubuntu still marks every release from 16.04 to 26.10 vulnerable.
Red Hat now rates it Critical but has no patched kernel for RHEL 8, 9 or 10.
Anthropic has not released the exploit. By its count, it takes 48 minutes to leak a kernel pointer and five more to run commands as root.

If your AI can run a business but cannot understand the language of its owner, how intelligent is it really?
Why should a salon owner in Lagos need to speak English to understand their customers, manage bookings or analyse revenue?
At @plotweaverapp, we're changing that.
After demonstrating AI-powered shopping through our Kivo marketplace in Nigerian Pidgin, I wanted to push things further.
Can we make AI agents perform real business operations entirely in Yoruba?
We built a demo to prove it.
Three interactions. Three real business workflows. All in Yoruba.
1. I booked a haircut for Monday at 4 pm.
I sent a WhatsApp voice note in Yoruba. The AI understood my request and booked the appointment.
No forms. No switching languages.
2. The salon owner moved my appointment from 4 pm to noon.
The owner instructed an AI agent to reschedule it. The booking was updated, and I received a WhatsApp notification confirming the change.
3. Another salon owner asked the AI to identify their top three customers by spending over the past month.
In Yoruba.
The agent retrieved the business data and returned the insights.
That third interaction is the real breakthrough.
We're moving from AI that speaks African languages to AI that actually WORKS in African languages.
Booking customers. Updating records. Analysing spending. Helping business owners make better decisions.
Now imagine this across millions of African businesses.
Salons. Pharmacies. Restaurants. Retailers. Banks. Clinics.
This is why we built @plotweaverapp .
We're not building every application ourselves, we're building the voice and language infrastructure that allows developers to make their AI agents, products and workflows work in African languages.
The next billion AI users won't all speak English.
And they shouldn't have to.
Watch the demo.
If you're building AI products for Africa, this is the infrastructure layer you should be thinking about.

🚨 BREAKING: The Trump DOJ uncovered a MULTIMILLION dollar student loan fraud scheme perpetrated in part by KENYANS in America
These Kenyans were STEALING American identities, applying for student loans, then sending that money back to KENYA
SEND THEM ALL BACK. We DO NOT need these people here.
Multiple Kenyans have now been indicted by federal grand juries on SEVERAL federal charges, including theft of government money and aggravated identity theft.
American victims — some of which never went to college — were victims of this scheme, had their identities stolen, and their credit absolutely WRECKED.
These third worlders are absolute scumbags.
