Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS.
Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company.

Primero nacionalizas a millones. Después haces que la nacionalidad implique tributar. Y una vez dentro, los tienes pillados.
Maybe @vonderleyen thinks EU regulations makes us hundreds of times more efficient than the US and that’s why her 10 billion investment will make EU the AI continent…
No, she’s just making bad jokes and wasting our tax money.
The U.S. has 2,441 proposed data-center projects scheduled to break ground between 2026 and 2028, representing as much as $2.48 trillion in planned investment. That pipeline is roughly 5 times the cost of building the original Interstate Highway System (inflation-adjusted) —except this infrastructure doesn’t move cars; it moves intelligence.
Cuanta razón!
Marc Andreessen (the guy who called it when “software ate the world”) just pointed out what AI is doing to coding next.
“Everyone assumes AI coding means fewer hours… or leaving the profession. But almost everyone I know is working more hours.”
“There’s a new term in the Valley: the ‘AI vampire.’ You’re up all night AI coding because you’re so productive you can’t shut it off.”
“The top AI coders make $50M a year. They’ve found the philosopher’s stone.”
“Every company has a thousand projects they’ve wanted to build but never had the bandwidth. Now they can. This isn’t a blip—it’s going to intensify.”

The Economist had 90 minutes with an individual shaping the future of our country and the world.
This interview is a clear example of how trust in legacy media is broken. People want the opportunity to learn more about one another—not more division and polarization.
When given the chance to ask about giving the blind a chance to see, advancing humanity through space travel, or providing the disabled the ability to drive a car, the reporter chose clickbait questions meant to drive engagement rather than understand her subject.
Elon did an excellent job answering her questions and explaining his core values while making her look like a fool.
