Doctors don’t like this as well. Often we have to take calls from frantic patients before we are aware of results. But this system and rules were mandated upon us. We do the best we can.
Healthcare is the only industry that drops your cancer scan results into an app at 11 PM on a Friday, then closes for the weekend. No call. No context. Just a PDF full of words like "suspicious" and "cannot be excluded" and a little banner that says "Sleep well!" Meanwhile billing found me in 4 hours 😐

Take Care of the People, people.
DPW should have an emergency line of accounting that is congressionally mandated to have funds. Specifically for HVAC issues. It’s hard for young Soldiers to see all the money the military is spending to modernize, only to be told their barracks issues won’t be fixed.

Ivermectin and Mebendazole protocol cured stage 4 Here is the protocol I used to cure stage 4 lungs cancer. Bookmark it Protocol Before Bed: Ivermectin – 2 ml Mebendazole – 1050 mg DMSO – 1/2 tsp C60 – 1 tsp (3 weeks on / 1 week off) Turmeric – 1,600 mg Resveratrol – 800 mg
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No robust clinical evidence supports claims that this ivermectin-mebendazole protocol cures stage 4 lung cancer. A single chest X-ray cannot confirm stage 4 lung cancer or a cure. connection.asco.org/do/asco-clinic… science.feedback.org/review/lack-ev… cancer.org/cancer/latest-… cancer.org/cancer/types/l…

So this dude cheered for me to kill myself back in May. And now in October he says “we are coming for you”. Also allegedly a War Department employee. So since I didn’t kill myself, now he and his friends are going to come finish the job? Another day ending in Y on Bluesky.
Keep in mind this dude, who is a GS employee for DoW, put up a 21-post fever dream on bluesky about what the next dem admin should do to go after the current front office. Baby bro is losing it.

Just to get this straight, @turo : Your turo host lends out his Cybertruck on your platform with free supercharging, invoices me about 1000 US$ for supercharging , and according to your support, that’s just fine. Ok, I call that fraud, but what do I know.

Be a shame if the link was available proton.me/flock-camera-map Be a shame if the surveillance state had a light shined on it. They're awfully secretive for "public information" company.
‼️ Proton is hosting a map of 300,000+ Flock surveillance device locations that Flock tried to get taken down. Researcher Joshua Michael says he pulled them from Flock's own systems via a token left open to anyone. Proton calls the takedown "an attempt to suppress information."

If JetBlue goes bankrupt, I would have to believe this would be the first time in history that the DOJ blocked a merger of two companies and then both went bankrupt. Great process. xitter.cf/Investingcom/status/21…

Let me get this straight. A guy keeps getting weirdly targeted ads on his new Samsung TV. So he breaks into his own TV to find out why. 1.2M people watch. 42 hours later, OpenAI deactivates his account. Reason: "Cyber Abuse." His words: "i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering" Same week, people on r/claude say Claude now cuts off reverse-engineering write-ups MID-SENTENCE: "A safety check stopped my response partway through creating the playbook" The TV is fine. The guy who opened it is the problem.
banned for reverse engineering work? that’s wild oh well, -$500, and a bunch of banked resets) but gained motivation to get 3 more machines and finish my cluster. i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering which tripped daybreak.

Lewis Hamilton: I think we need to make sure we’re pushing to free Congo, free Sudan, free Syria, free Palestine. I think there’s a lot of peace that I’m hoping that, at some stage, we get to.

In Remembrance of Beirut #OTD in 1983, a terrorist bombing at the Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, claimed the lives of 241 U.S. service members, including 220 Marines, serving as part of the Multinational Force in Lebanon. On October 23, a suicide bomber drove a truck laden with explosives into the barracks where U.S. Marines were stationed on a peacekeeping mission. The attack devastated the building and became one of the deadliest days in Marine Corps History. The Marines in Beirut were deployed to help restore peace and stability amid escalating violence in Lebanon. Despite the dangers they faced, they carried out their mission with courage, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to one another. The Beirut bombing left a lasting mark on the #MarineCorps and the nation. We remember the lost lives, honor the wounded and survivors, and recognize the families and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that day. Their sacrifice remains woven into the legacy of every #Marine who has answered the call to serve. Today, we pause to remember the 241 American service members who never made it home and honor their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty. They came in peace. They will never be forgotten. The #Bears will give out fake mustaches to all fans Thursday night ahead of their game vs. the #Patriots as part of their plan to honor former player and coach Mike Ditka, who died earlier this month, per @SunTimes. Tonight is Chicago’s first home game since Ditka's passing.

Sad news today. After 5 years of medical training, one of my mates has been struck off due to a minor discretion. He slept with one of his patients and can no longer do the job he loves. What a waste of time and money. Genuinely a great guy and a brilliant vet

I can help interpret: patient has metastatic cancer, awful diagnosis, “alternative” doctor gives her useless but harmless treatment, she develops brain mets so she needs the ER and IV steroids, MRI, seizure meds, consult with radiation oncology then immediate discharge, radiation will start in a week or so. The hospital and other doctors did everything correctly, she did not need her medical oncologist, she’ll need him in two weeks if she decides that vitamins and minerals have been a waste of time and money, and for a serious conversation about the realistic goals of therapy
I recently had a young mother in my office with an oncologic neurologic emergency. We diagnosed new brain metastases on a CT scan. I called her oncologist personally with the update. She told me, "She's not getting treated, she's just doing those vitamin C infusions." In preparation for the ER, I called ahead to notify them about her. I requested to talk to a physician in the ER three times and was told, "We don't do that here." This was a hospital I used to work at. My patient was admitted to the ICU for 3 days, and not one person called me one time. Let's get into how this entire story went sideways.
