I thought the Biebs was singing “eat chicken, eat chicken, these chickens” on SPEED DEMON but apparently he’s not saying that

Re: Red Sox, rival evaluator: “How does it make it better to fire one of the best managers in the game?”

Don't cover the Red Sox (obviously) but can say this with 100 % certainty when it comes to the industry: Alex Cora is, overwhelmingly, considered far better at his job than Craig Breslow is at his. And it's not remotely close.
Mad enough to get back into on Twitter to say that Cora was the best thing the @RedSox organization had going for them. Got more wins out of Bloom and Breslow’s mediocre rosters than any other manager would’ve. Owners should sell the team.
a little known but very important recession indicator is: “how hard does it hit when Lil Wayne says ‘and honestly I’m down like the economy’ on that Jay Sean song?”
and it’s hitting worrisomely hard these days…
the speed with which the federal government got a big powerful company to sack an employee—a famous comedian, no less—over some anodyne comment that’s being willfully misinterpreted…it’s not great!

watched an episode of an apparently quite famous show called Family Ties tn after reading that it was groundbreaking…the style of old TV is strange to me but the charm of Michael J. Fox is timeless
my review of recent TV
The Pitt: greatest show of all time. should I go to med school? or date an ER doctor?
Severance: boring as all hell. total slog. simply didn’t give a damn about any of it
White Lotus: pure joy to watch. good to have someone toy with our prurient interest
